MIDI Remote Integration

Built around the new concept of MIDI Remote Scripts, Cubase will automatically detect your device and map the controls. If there is no script for your device yet, you can easily create your own with the MIDI Controller Surface Editor. You can then conveniently connect controls and parameters with the Mapping Assistant.
VariAudio with Scale Assistant
Whether you want to get creative with melodies or correct the pitch of your recordings, the Scale Assistant in VariAudio brings two powerful tools together to make pitch editing a breeze. Just set the scale and follow the Chord Track or let the Scale Assistant suggest the scale, based on your recorded notes. You can then instantly quantize the pitch of your recording or snap the VariAudio pitch editing to the scale. Pitch editing has never been so easy!
Audio to MIDI Chords
Have you forgotten what you just played? Dont worry. Cubase 12 can analyze your audio recordings and extract the chords for you. Just drag and drop an audio file onto a MIDI track and Cubase will create a MIDI part with the chords. You can then use them to harmonize other tracks, create chord pads, or edit them further in the Key Editor.
New Effects
Cubase 12 comes with a range of new effects that will enhance your sound and inspire your creativity. For example, you can use Squasher to compress, saturate, and duck your tracks with up to three bands of processing. You can use SpectraLayers One to perform spectral editing on your audio files and remove unwanted noise or enhance specific frequencies. You can use Imager to widen or narrow the stereo field of your tracks with up to four bands of multiband processing.
Dolby Atmos Support
If you want to create immersive soundtracks for movies, games, or VR applications, Cubase 12 has you covered. Cubase 12 supports Dolby Atmos Authoring for creating spatial audio mixes in up to 7.1.2 bed channel configurations and up to 118 audio objects. You can use the ADM Export plug-in to export your Dolby Atmos mixes as ADM BWF files that are compatible with Dolby Atmos Production Suite and Dolby Atmos Mastering Suite. Your audio system must be set to an ASIO buffer size of 512 samples and to a sample rate of 48 kHz.
